Deploy to your own Vercel account
An independent website runs on your own Vercel account, so the website and its project belong to you. Publishing on Portify stays free if you don’t need this.

Publish on Portify or independently
Publishing on Portify is the simplest choice: your portfolio gets a Portify address and needs no other account. An independent website gets its own Vercel project and .vercel.app address, and you can manage it from Vercel. Each Portify account can have one published portfolio at a time, in either form.
Connect your account
- Open your portfolio in the Portify editor and find the independent website panel.
- Choose Connect Vercel account. Vercel opens in a new tab.
- Pick the account or team that should own the website and finish the install.
- Return to Portify. The panel shows the connected account.
If you limit the install to specific projects, Portify can’t create a new project for you. Allow all projects, or add the project afterwards in Vercel.
Deploy and redeploy
Choose a site name and deploy. The name becomes your website’s address, so it has to be free on Vercel. After you edit your portfolio, deploy again to update the same project and address.
What Portify can access
Portify uses the connection to create and update your portfolio’s project and to read its deployment status. The access token is encrypted on our server and is never sent to your browser. Read our Privacy Policy for more.
Disconnect
You can disconnect from the same panel in Portify, or remove the Portify integration in your Vercel settings. Websites on your Vercel account stay live. To deploy again, connect the account again.
Cost
Portify doesn’t charge for independent websites. Vercel’s plans and limits apply to your account, including rules about commercial use on its free plan.
